The Vegas NASCAR occasion on Sunday had been a yawner of a competition throughout much of the 400 miles, but an incident that is last-lap hometown boy Kyle Busch and Joey Logano provided lots of excitement that ended up in the two motorists trading blows.
Fans came for a NASCAR race, but got a boxing match whenever Kyle Busch (pictured) fought Joey Logano at the vegas Motor Speedway.
The Kobalt 400, vegas’ annual NASCAR race, was considered an event that is dreadfully boring racing observers. There were passes that are few and long stretches of running under green-flag conditions.
That most changed regarding the lap that is final. Martin Truex Jr. had the battle won, but Logano, hoping to get to the finish on a tank that is nearly empty slightly lost control on the final corner and spun Busch off the track.
When the two exited their cars, Busch approached Logano and took a move at the younger driver. Pit crews wrestled the two apart, although not before blood ended up being drawn.
‘He flat out just drove straight within the corner and wrecked me,’ Vegas Busch that is native said. ‘That’s exactly how Joey races, so he’s likely to get it.’
